An Experienced Technology Expert Joins the Executive Team
Bertrand Simon is no stranger to XFT. After working in technology consulting at SAP Germany, he joined XFT 17 years ago. Over the past 13 years, as a member of the development leadership team, he has played a key role in advancing XFT products such as XFT Document Composer and XFT Zeugnismanager.
With his move into executive management, Bertrand Simon aims to help shape XFT’s future even more actively. The software market offers significant opportunities but is also undergoing unprecedented transformation. While many SAP customers are still navigating their S/4 transformation, the AI revolution is accelerating technological change – and SAP continues to drive the shift toward the cloud. These developments present major challenges for XFT as a forward-looking SAP add-on software provider. To consistently align XFT products and services with rapidly changing market conditions – and to support companies in their SAP transformation projects as effectively as possible – innovation and continuously expanding expertise are essential.
In his new role, Simon plans to tackle these challenges by actively driving the further development of XFT’s experts – both technically and professionally – with the goal of adapting consulting capabilities to new conditions and sustainably strengthening the future readiness of XFT and its customers.
„This is a great honor and an equally great challenge. But with its strong product foundation and broad expertise, XFT has excellent prerequisites to grow together with its customers in these disruptive times. That’s why I gladly accepted the new responsibility and agreed to join the executive team without hesitation“, said Bertrand Simon. Norbert Schroeder added: „I am convinced that Bertrand is the perfect successor and that XFT is in the very best hands with him.“
XFT warmly welcomes Bertrand Simon to the executive team and thanks Norbert Schroeder for his tireless commitment, deep expertise, and warm personality that have had a lasting impact on XFT.
